Welcome to Horton Plaza Theatres Foundation
Horton Plaza Theatres Foundation was formed in November 1983 by the San Diego City Council to oversee the operation and management of the publicly leased Lyceum Theatres and to act as the steward of the Lyceum.
Lyceum is Downtown San Diego’s Cultural Town Hall, hosting community meetings, seminars, theatrical performances, private and corporate events, and art exhibitions presented by an array of local, regional, national, and international organizations.

Rent the Lyceum Theatres
Lyceum is currently closed for renovation and scheduled to reopen in late 2024.
